About Ryan
Ryan Miske is a long-time Eden Prairie resident who wants to ensure that Eden Prairie remains one of the best places to live and work. As we experience very challenging times, Ryan believes we must help each other so that our community emerges stronger than ever from the present situation.
As the son of parents who owned and operated a small printing company for more than three decades, Ryan learned the value of hard work, integrity, and entrepreneurship. As a first-generation college graduate, those values guided Ryan as he graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota.
After receiving his undergraduate degree, Ryan went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota with a joint law degree and a master’s degree in business administration. While attending law school, Ryan served as editor-in-chief of Minnesota Law Review.
Currently, Ryan is a partner in the Corporate Group at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP (formerly Faegre & Benson LLP and then Faegre Baker Daniels LLP). Ryan has been honored with a spot on Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list and has been repeatedly named to the list of Minnesota Super Lawyers.
As an Eagle Scout, Ryan learned at a very young age the importance of serving one’s community and others. In 2000, Ryan earned the Gold Congressional Award, which is the highest honor the U.S. Congress confers on youth for distinguished public service and personal development initiatives. Named Volunteer of the Year by his hometown, Ryan remains highly engaged helping his community, including serving as a member of the executive board of the Northern Star Council - Boy Scouts of America, which serves communities across central Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
“The future holds so much bright promise for Eden Prairie if we work together toward our shared goals for our community. I hope to earn your support to serve the entire community on the Eden Prairie City Council,” Ryan observed in announcing his campaign for city council.
